About The Position
Hands-on digital forensics position based in Fresno, CA. The role is focused on evidence acquisition, preservation, processing, examination, analysis, and documentation. This is a fully onsite role, so candidates must currently live in the area and be willing to work onsite. No sponsorship or third-party involvement.
Requirements
- Professional experience in digital forensics, computer forensics, or a closely related discipline
- Experience acquiring, processing, and examining computers, storage media, and other digital evidence
- Familiarity with forensic tools such as Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, X-Ways, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of evidence handling, chain of custody, and defensible forensic process
- Ability to analyze forensic artifacts and document findings clearly
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined case documentation
- Comfortable working within a structured forensic lab environment
- Able to pass a background check
- Currently in the Fresno, CA area and willing to work onsite
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting litigation, criminal investigations, internal investigations, or similar matters is beneficial
- Prior law enforcement digital forensics experience is a plus
