About The Position

Wing is seeking elite talent to join M32 AI (backed by top-tier Silicon Valley VCs), dedicated to building agentic AI for traditional service businesses. This role is described as a startup within a corporate environment, characterized by being fast-moving and agile, with the stability of a corporate and zero bureaucracy. The Digital & Field Events Marketer will own all aspects of events, from industry events, tradeshows, and conferences to smaller gatherings like luncheons and thought leadership conversations. Additionally, they will manage digital events such as webinars and podcasts, including hosting and being the public face for the company during these events. This is a hands-on role for an individual with 2-4 years of experience who excels at logistics, thrives in fast-paced settings, and enjoys executing successful events. The role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams to convert event participation into meetings, opportunities, and revenue. It is an individual contributor position and the first dedicated events hire, offering creativity and autonomy. The role is high-visibility from day one, providing an opportunity to shape the company's perception among customers, prospects, and the industry. Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or tech.
  • A proven track record of organizing events end-to-end, with the ability to showcase past events and their outcomes.
  • Experience managing an events budget, including forecasting, tracking spend, and making trade-offs for maximum ROI.
  • Comfortable defining KPIs and building reports that link event activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to automate or improve event marketing work (e.g., research, vendor outreach, reporting, content drafting, lead enrichment).
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential for European travel.
  • Must live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights.
  • Must have the right to work in the country where they live (US or Canada); visa sponsorship is not offered.

  • Experience with event tools such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast.
  • Experience working with international events or vendors.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or a similar fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source and prioritize events, including researching, evaluating, and recommending tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that align with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and revenue goals.
  • Own a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and venues, negotiating sponsorships, booth space, speaking slots, and add-ons to optimize budget.
  • Plan and execute events end-to-end, managing details such as booth design and shipping, collateral, lead capture, AV, catering, hotel blocks, and team travel logistics.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for all events, attending in person to set up and tear down booths, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a polished presence.
  • Prepare attending team members by briefing them on objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Drive pipeline by partnering with sales to book pre-show meetings, organize on-site dinners and customer events, and ensure prompt lead capture, qualification, and follow-up.
  • Execute pre- and post-event campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team, including email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social media to drive booth traffic and meeting bookings.
  • Manage the event budget, including tracking costs, forecasting, identifying risks, and making trade-off decisions.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each event (e.g., leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI) and create post-event reports to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
