Events & Field Marketing Manager

TOGGLCleveland, OH
€70,000 - €70,000Remote

About The Position

We are looking for an Events & Field Marketing Manager to own Toggl's presence made physical, the person who turns a conference badge, a booth conversation, or a dinner reservation into real business. This role is responsible for engineering those moments on purpose, again and again, and ensuring they don't evaporate the second the event ends. You are someone who has done this before (preferably in a B2B SaaS setting) and can negotiate a vendor contract in the morning, rewrite an invitation email by lunch, and walk a trade show floor in the afternoon, reading which conversations are worth a follow-up call. As Events & Field Marketing Manager, you own the full lifecycle of Toggl's in-person and hybrid presence, turning sponsorships, trade shows, and owned experiences into a genuine pipeline engine, not just a brand awareness play.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of experience running events that convert.
  • Experience with event logistics, vendor negotiation, and field marketing strategies.
  • Experience running in-person B2B events in the North American market.
  • Experience with AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, and prototyping.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work from anywhere in the world as long as your main location is between UTC-5 and UTC+2.
  • Ability to travel to both North America and Europe.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in European markets.
  • Experience specifically marketing software.
  • Experience with AI tools as a core part of how you work, not a side experiment.
  • Experience with asynchronous communication and concisely expressing ideas without having to jump on a call.

Responsibilities

  • Take full, end-to-end operational coordination ownership for all major external sponsorships and industry trade shows. You'll manage vendor communications, booth layout architecture, graphic dimension configurations, compliance logistics, and swag sourcing & distribution, owning the event budget and negotiating with vendors along the way.
  • Write and produce all content required to run an event end-to-end — invitations, landing pages, promotional emails, social posts, on-site materials, and post-event follow-up sequences. You'll also create post-event recap content (summary emails, LinkedIn posts, short highlight videos, and case studies where relevant) to extend the life of each event well beyond its final day.
  • Eliminate post-event pipeline latency by building strict cross-departmental SLAs before any event takes place. You'll work directly with Sales and our Demand Gen Manager to build pre-event ad layers, account matching lists, and post-event outbound sequencing so event contacts are in active sales conversations within 24 hours.
  • Research, conceptualize, and execute curated physical event touchpoints (think micro-roundtables and private VIP executive dinners) specifically designed for upmarket decision-makers, managing everything from venue negotiation and culinary curation to guest list outreach and on-site execution.
  • Owning the event lead capture process and ensuring all attendee data flows cleanly into HubSpot with correct source attribution.
  • Reporting on cost-per-opportunity for each activation to showcase the impact of event and field marketing activities.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales to align event initiatives with overall pipeline and business goals.
  • Using AI tools extensively in your daily work for research, synthesis, analysis, drafting, and exploration. AI fluency is not optional. It's part of how you increase your speed, depth, and impact.

Benefits

  • Freedom to choose when and how much you work—we only measure results
  • 24 days of paid time off a year, plus your local holidays
  • Unlimited sick leave
  • In-person meetups for team-building (expenses covered)
  • 4-6 weeks paid sabbatical (depending on tenure)
  • Laptop budget up to 2,500€ and it renews every 3 years
  • €2,000 budget to set up your home office and an additional €300 every year after 3 years of tenure
  • €3,000 per year for co-working space membership and/or internet service at home
  • €4,000 per year contribution to use for training, workshops, and conferences
  • €2,400 per year contribution for any equipment or services to improve and/or maintain your physical and mental health
  • Support for buying tools you need for doing your best work (even eyeglasses if you need a new pair)
