Digital Content Writer

Lucas Museum of Narrative ArtLos Angeles, CA
7d$71,000 - $78,000

About The Position

The Digital Content Writer is a core member of the Lucas Museum’s growing Digital Product and Experience team, and will be responsible for producing clear, compelling, and mission-driven texts for distribution across the museum's digital channels. This role will support the full range of the museum's digital output, from rich, accessible writing that brings the museum’s exhibitions and artists to life to engaging marketing copy that invites the public in and drives conversions and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Digital and working closely with the Digital Content Strategist and Senior Digital Producer, the Digital Content Writer will also collaborate across the museum’s Curatorial, Editorial, Marketing, Membership, and Development teams. While the department will draw on a network of freelancers to meet its ambitious digital goals, the Digital Content Writer will function as the museum’s primary internal wordsmith. In that capacity, they’ll craft text that embodies the museum’s belief that art should be accessible to everyone, show a genuine passion for narrative art and the people who make it, and help the museum speak in a distinctly human voice, free of pretense and jargon.
