The Digital Content Writer is a core member of the Lucas Museumâs growing Digital Product and Experience team, and will be responsible for producing clear, compelling, and mission-driven texts for distribution across the museum's digital channels. This role will support the full range of the museum's digital output, from rich, accessible writing that brings the museumâs exhibitions and artists to life to engaging marketing copy that invites the public in and drives conversions and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Digital and working closely with the Digital Content Strategist and Senior Digital Producer, the Digital Content Writer will also collaborate across the museumâs Curatorial, Editorial, Marketing, Membership, and Development teams. While the department will draw on a network of freelancers to meet its ambitious digital goals, the Digital Content Writer will function as the museumâs primary internal wordsmith. In that capacity, theyâll craft text that embodies the museumâs belief that art should be accessible to everyone, show a genuine passion for narrative art and the people who make it, and help the museum speak in a distinctly human voice, free of pretense and jargon.
