About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Content Writer to join their digital marketing team. This role involves researching, writing, and optimizing content across various formats, including SEO-driven blog posts, thought leadership guides, web pages, email campaigns, datasheets, video scripts, and event presentations. The Content Writer will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, and marketing teams to enhance brand awareness, drive organic growth, and communicate the company's value proposition to customers and channel partners through compelling content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field required
  • 2+ years of content writing experience in a corporate marketing environment, preferably in B2B software or technology
  • Portfolio demonstrating writing competency across multiple content formats
  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills — written and verbal
  • Strong storytelling ability with a talent for bringing narratives to life for a B2B audience
  • Marketing mindset — a genuine curiosity about what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to collaborate with remote teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Google Gemini or similar
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit content across multiple formats including blog posts, articles, guides, white papers, web pages, email campaigns, datasheets, video scripts, ad copy, social media posts, and event and conference presentations.
  • Optimize new and existing content to align with SEO and AEO best practices and drive organic traffic.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and leadership teams to identify topics of value, develop content strategy, and ensure alignment with branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze buyer-persona demographics, preferences, and behaviors to tailor content effectively for B2B audiences.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in B2B content marketing — and apply that knowledge to continuously improve content quality and strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and content reviewer, recommending changes based on market input and corporate initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all content and ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Attend marketing events, team meetings, and functions as required.
