About The Position

The Digital Content & Design Lead creates engaging marketing communications that strengthen UVA Community Credit Union’s brand, promote products and services, and enhance the member experience across digital and traditional channels. The role combines creative design expertise with digital marketing execution, supporting strategic marketing initiatives through website management, email marketing, digital advertising, and graphic design. This position maintains a consistent brand presence and helps drive member engagement, awareness, and growth through content and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, website content management, email marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Web Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing website content through a Content Management System (CMS).
• Experience building and deploying email marketing campaigns and digital communications.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong project management, organizational, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, SEO principles, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Financial services or credit union marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain website content, including page updates, landing pages, product information, banners, and user experience enhancements.
• Create, build, test, schedule, and deploy email marketing and digital communication campaigns.
• Design digital advertising assets for website placements, online banking, social media, display advertising, and other digital channels.
• Produce marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, direct mail, social media graphics, presentations, and promotional assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign strategy, concept development, and creative execution.
• Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance and recommend improvements to engagement, conversions, and overall effectiveness.
• Support organizational events by creating promotional materials, displays, presentations, and event-related communications.
• Source and manage photography, illustrations, and other visual assets that align with brand standards.
• Perform quality control, proofreading, and compliance review to ensure marketing materials are accurate and effective.
• Maintain consistency across member-facing communications and marketing channels.
