About The Position

Steinbach Credit Union (SCU) is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator for a 6-month term to join their Marketing Team. This role supports the execution of website, email, and digital communications, focusing on inputting, formatting, and updating content within existing systems and templates to ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience. The Digital Content Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Technology Specialist, Graphic Designer, and System Administrator, Marketing Cloud, acting as a quality checkpoint across digital channels to ensure efficient content implementation, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with brand and accessibility guidelines. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in website, email, and owned digital channels while contributing to SCU's digital member experiences.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a digital content, marketing, or communications support role.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) or web publishing tools.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills with attention to tone and detail.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in execution tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within brand and content guidelines in a regulated or structured environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Kentico, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and template design tools is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and familiarity with accessibility and web content best practices (not required, but an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Input and publish content within the content management system (CMS).
  • Apply formatting, meta data, and basic layout adjustments in line with established standards, making minor edits to content to improve clarity, flow, and consistency.
  • Support the creation and updating of webpages based on established templates and direction, performing quality checks prior to publishing (e.g., formatting, broken links, consistency).
  • Assist with ongoing website updates, content refreshes, and clean-up initiatives to identify and flag outdated, inconsistent, or unclear content.
  • Input content into existing email templates, formatting content appropriately within templates.
  • Support basic testing (e.g., preview checks, link validation) and conduct quality assurance checks (e.g., links, formatting, accuracy) prior to deployment.
  • Support the creation and updating of simple digital assets (e.g., in-branch screens, digital signage) using established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to ensure assets are accurate and aligned with brand standards.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand, accessibility, and formatting standards.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies across channels (e.g., web vs. email messaging).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify content requirements.
  • Share feedback on recurring issues to help improve templates and processes.
