About The Position

The Digital Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and creates a convenient, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders accurately and efficiently, collecting payment, and supporting customers throughout curbside pickup. The clerk receives daily workflow through a dashboard, selects and verifies products throughout the store, bags and stages orders according to standards, and follows food safety guidelines. The position also helps maintain a clean, organized pickup area and supports other tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Attention to detail, organization, and dependability.
Ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, accurate service at the curbside pickup area and collect payment during the carside experience.
Greet customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly by partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag them according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Perform other tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
