About The Position

The Digital Account Operations Specialist reviews and makes decisions on new client applications and performs advanced processing of existing client change requests in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental processes and procedures. Working under moderate to low supervision, this role supports banking professionals in completing critical tasks on time.

Requirements

• High school education is preferred.
• No experience is required.

• Two or more years of expertise in operational account services and customer support.
• Ability to navigate complex banking procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Skill in reviewing and processing new client applications in alignment with KYC, CIP, and OFAC requirements.
• Ability to validate client information using third-party verification tools such as LexisNexis and Experian.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various banking software applications.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new client applications according to Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
• Validate client information using third-party verification tools such as LexisNexis and Experian.
• Conduct advanced research on client-submitted applications before onboarding and respond to client inquiries.
• Handle complex title applications, including trusts and estates, and process existing client title change requests.
• Contact clients using verification tools to obtain necessary documents before onboarding, and perform due diligence checks and inquiries related to client-submitted applications.
• Safeguard and control work in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
• Support training of new team members.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), where applicable.
