The University of Colorado Denver is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative Digital Accessibility Coordinator to provide part-time, temporary support for the university’s digital accessibility initiatives. Working under the direction of the Digital Accessibility Lead, the coordinator will help implement and coordinate accessibility efforts across the university so digital content, instructional materials, websites, and university technologies are accessible to people with disabilities. The role provides hands-on support identifying and addressing accessibility issues in digital materials, including use of Ally in Canvas to help faculty identify barriers and improve course content. The coordinator also supports project coordination, remediation tracking, documentation, training, communication, and collaboration with faculty, staff, and campus partners. The position requires independently managing assigned tasks while collaborating with the Digital Accessibility Lead to advance university accessibility initiatives. This is a temporary position limited to no more than nine months, funded through June 30, 2027, with a stated start date of January 11, 2027. It is part-time and follows a hybrid work arrangement, with on-campus or in-office work as needed. The hiring range is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour. Temporary employees are eligible only for sick leave benefits.
