About The Position

Everytown’s Digital Advocacy team is seeking a part-time, temporary digital professional to assist with email and SMS production throughout the 2026 election cycle. The ideal candidate will be available to work 15 hours a week, predominantly in the afternoons. This role is anticipated to run from September 1 to November 10, 2026, with a pay rate of $50 per hour.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience building advocacy emails in ActionKit or a similar CRM
• 1+ year experience building advocacy SMS broadcasts in Ascend, MobileCommons, or a similar platform
• Some familiarity with c3, c4, and PAC entity guidelines and their implications
• Exceptional copywriting, copy editing, proofreading, and communications skills
• Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Loading and proofing ActionKit emails on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
• Monitoring and replying to responses in our Ascend SMS inbox on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
• Drafting some Advocacy-related email and SMS, as needed
