Requirements

  • Clinical nutrition assessment and documentation
  • Personalized nutrition counseling and behavior-change support
  • Planning, developing, organizing, and implementing nutrition programs
  • Teaching group nutrition education classes, workshops, or wellness programs
  • Educating clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, metabolic health, and long-term lifestyle changes
  • Monitoring client progress, evaluating outcomes, and modifying care plans
  • Appropriate documentation after each visit
  • Maintaining quality assurance
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
  • Utilizing proper documentation and coding for insurance billing and reimbursement

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical nutrition assessment and documentation for clients, including comprehensive evaluations of dietary intake, medical history, and lifestyle factors
  • Meet with clients in 1:1 appointments to deliver personalized nutrition counseling and behavior-change support
  • Assists in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing individual and group-based nutrition programs i.e., nutrition and weight loss planning
  • Plan and teach group nutrition education classes, workshops, or wellness programs as assigned
  • Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, metabolic health, and long-term lifestyle changes
  • Monitor client progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify care plans as clinically appropriate
  • Documents appropriately after each visit, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant clinical records.
  • Maintain quality assurance by evaluating compliance with corporate policies and procedures and State and Federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high-quality care
  • Utilize proper documentation and coding to support insurance billing and reimbursement processes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
