About The Position

The Medical Office Associate I, Per Diem, at the Chambers Center for Well Being in Morristown, is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing appointments, and ensuring efficient office operations. This role involves greeting guests, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing registrations, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and maintaining necessary documentation. The associate must be proficient with office software, adhere to shift opening and closing procedures, and actively promote retail sales by maintaining knowledge of products and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work and retail areas. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests by name in person and when responding to phone calls and voicemails.
  • Monitor phones, register clients, schedule appointments, perform guest check-ins and check-outs, coordinate client appointments, and handle complex scheduling needs.
  • Complete registration and check-in for appointments, including insurance verification, co-pay collection, and completion of necessary intake forms and documentation.
  • Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of all necessary software essential to the position.
  • Properly open and close each shift according to Policies and Procedures when required.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of retail products and actively promote retail sales.
  • Help stock inventory for retail sale; ensure that the work and retail areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
