About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate per diem Occupational Therapist to join our award-winning team at Morristown Medical Center's inpatient Rehab Department. We are seeking candidates who have experience in a large acute inpatient hospital, are used to a fast-paced environment, and have an interest in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary populations. We prefer candidates who have acute care/inpatient experience who can work various days and two weekend days per month. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans based upon evidenced based practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members.
  • Communicate with patients and families.
  • Patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
