About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team of Dietitians at LMH Health to work in-patient in Lawrence, Kansas. LMH Health is a 174-bed, community-owned, not for profit hospital, dedicated to improving the health of the community. This position is open to new graduates and experienced dietitians.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian and licensed in Kansas.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• Minimum functional experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on inpatient units.
• Be the primary liaison with medical and ancillary staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees.
• Educate food & nutrition staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Assist in other initiatives, including performance improvement, quality management, community events, and departmental tasks.
