About The Position
Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! Sodexo is seeking a Remote Registered Dietitian for Comanche County Memorial Hospital located in Lawton, OK. This 283-bed teaching hospital offers a variety of health-care specialties including oncology, surgical, cardiovascular, OB/GYN, behavioral health, general medicine, and rehabilitation services. Comanche County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is located at the foothills of the beautiful Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in the heart of Southwest Oklahoma and is within 1-3 hours drive of Oklahoma City, OK and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in OK
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Be a self-starter and a team player
- The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
- Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department
- Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses
- Assist the Food Service Management team, as needed
