About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their clinical team at USC Arcadia Hospital, a 348-bed acute care facility located in Arcadia, CA. This hospital offers an excellent balance of clinical complexity and growth opportunity for both seasoned and developing dietitians. The hospital maintains an average daily census of ~240 patients and includes: 40 Critical Care beds, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Bariatric Program and a 30-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Requirements

• A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• Three years' experience as a practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent Organizational, communication skills
• The ability to be self-directed and be a team player

Nice To Haves

• A master's degree
• Two years' experience in critical care and nutrition support along with PI/QI initiatives
• Strong interested in improving their clinical knowledge
• A passion to elevate their clinical career -in the absence of the stated experience above, the individual should be excited and able to learn these processes with a passion

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy utilizing the Nutrition Care Process for inpatient populations, including critical care
• Conduct nutrition assessments, monitoring, and follow-up care
• Educate patients and families regarding acute and chronic disease management
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as meal rounds, tray audits, and patient satisfaction activities
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Assist with Food & Nutrition Services operations as needed
