About The Position

Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a full-time inpatient Registered Dietitian with expertise in acute care and long-term care clinical experience to join their clinical team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. This role involves providing nutritional care for inpatients with various disease states, participating in quality improvement initiatives, educating healthcare team members, and precepting dietetic interns. Renown Health is a significant medical center with 800 beds and the region's only Level II Trauma Center.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential and licensed in NV or eligible for a license in NV
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills, a self-starter, and will be a team player
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Prior acute care experience in an acute care healthcare setting
Some long-term care/clinical experience is preferred

Responsibilities
