Sodexo is hiring Full Time and Part Time Registered Dietitians with flexible hours to come join the clinical team at Martin Luther King, Jr Community Hospital. MLKCH is a brand-new 131-bed hospital located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a great opportunity for new dietitians as well as experienced dietitians.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian certification preferred with experience in a clinical healthcare setting
Strong clinical skills with emphasis in nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition including critical care (ICU) experience preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare setting preferred
Excellent time management skills, be a self-starter and team player, with the ability to work well independently
The ability to Communicate and work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Be responsible for actively providing Medical Nutrition Therapy screening, assessing, and documenting the inpatient populations' nutritional needs
Implement care plans and educate patients (and family members) with a variety of disease states
Assist the Clinical Nutrition Manager with projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned
Participate in the continuous quality improvement process and maintain a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and committees, and other relevant activities
