About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for Sunrise Hospital located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sunrise Hospital is the largest acute care facility and comprehensive children's hospital in Nevada (900-bed Trauma Center). This role focuses on providing nutritional care to a variety of inpatients, including the ICU, and involves quality improvement initiatives, educating healthcare team members, and maintaining good time management skills. Requirements
- Be a Registered Dietitian and licensed or eligible to obtain in NV
- At least 1 year of prior acute care experience, including ICU (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, a self-starter and work well as a team player and independently
- The ability to work well and develop strong relations with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
