About The Position

This role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in a senior living setting, with potential for virtual coverage in Kansas and Wisconsin. Compass Group employs over 3,000 RDNs across the United States in various settings including hospitals, senior living communities, schools, corporate wellness programs, and food service operations. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will perform comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, provide education on nutrition and lifestyle strategies, apply evidence-based practice, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, collaborate with the food service management team, and support the growth of staff and dietetic interns.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
