The role involves maintaining a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers, and being adaptable to customer needs. Responsibilities include answering phones, taking menu orders, answering questions, or directing calls from patients related to their meals or nutritional needs. The worker uses software to record patient orders, maintains general knowledge of therapeutic diets, and collaborates with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition. The position also requires maintaining patient privacy, safety, and dignity through client confidentiality and adherence to safety and sanitation standards, as well as compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation, Business Conduct Policy, and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
