About The Position
Haven Memory Care, a Community Senior Life Community, seeks a Dietary Manager to support an enriching senior living experience for residents. The manager oversees daily dietary operations, including meal preparation, sanitation, staff supervision and scheduling, inventory, and food ordering. The role also assists with special meals, parties, and banquets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain ServSafe Certification.
- Must pass a background check.
- Be patient, caring, organized, and able to multitask.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed.
- Possess team spirit, good character, and personal integrity.
Responsibilities
- Review daily menus and assemble food, supplies, and equipment for preparation according to production sheets.
- Prepare meals according to planned menus.
- Maintain assigned department areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner, following a clean-as-you-go principle.
- Assist with checking in and storing incoming food and supplies.
- Assist with planning and preparing special meals, parties, and banquets.
- Supervise the daily duties of dietary staff and manage staffing schedules.
- Conduct monthly inventory of food and drink.
- Order food and drink items weekly.
