About The Position

The Dietary Manager plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role oversees dietary staff, maintains cost-control measures, coordinates diet therapy, and ensures dietary services meet residents’ individual needs. The manager collaborates with other departments to enhance the overall quality of resident care.

The employer seeks an experienced candidate with a ServSafe Manager Certificate and recent skilled nursing management experience. A Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and experience in long-term care are preferred. Requirements

• ServSafe Manager Certificate.
• Minimum of two or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, or related areas.
• Any combination of experience and training that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Recent skilled nursing management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
• Experience in a long-term care setting.
