About The Position

At Wexford Place, a Senior Star community, we believe dining is more than a meal—it’s an experience. We’re looking for a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) who takes pride in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading a team with purpose, energy, and heart. This position will work either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. As our Dietary Manager, you’ll lead the full food & beverage operation for our Assisted Living and Memory Care building —balancing quality, hospitality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager Certificate required
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility
• Experience with budgeting, inventory, and purchasing
• Ability to lead, coach, and build a strong team culture
• A commitment to delivering a Top in Class dining experience every day

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred
• Experience in an assisted living setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create a high-quality dining experience that residents look forward to every day
• Lead kitchen and dining teams to deliver consistent, welcoming service
• Plan menus that offer variety, nutrition, and resident satisfaction
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and budgets with strong attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
• Recruit, train, and develop a strong, engaged culinary team
• Be present in the dining room—connecting with residents, resolving concerns, and elevating the experience
• Partner with leadership to support community events, tours, and overall success
