About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Dietary Aide to join its dietary team in one of its skilled nursing communities in Iowa. The role focuses on food table service for residents, including serving meals, setting up and clearing tables, transporting food carts, and delivering trays to residents’ rooms. The Dietary Aide also performs cleaning duties and maintains safe, sanitary work areas. This is a full-time evening position with every other weekend scheduled.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in food safety, sanitation, and modified diets.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot and cold food portions to residents.
• Set up and clear tables.
• Transport food carts.
• Deliver trays to residents’ rooms while providing exceptional customer service.
