About The Position

Pinnacle Specialty Care, a 100-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is hiring a Dietary Aide for full-time evening shifts, including every other weekend. The role supports residents by carrying out food table service and providing attentive customer service. Duties include serving food, setting up and clearing tables, transporting food carts, delivering trays to resident rooms, and cleaning work areas while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. The position is part of Care Initiatives’ dietary team, which serves residents across skilled nursing communities in Iowa.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in food safety, sanitation, and modified diets.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot and cold food portions to residents as part of food table service.
• Set up and clear tables.
• Transport food carts.
