About The Position

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for a day shift. The Dietary Aide works closely with the dining services team and helps provide customer service to internal and external customers. Duties include setting and bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, and completing cleaning duties. Requirements

Possess any licenses and/or certifications required by the state licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements, if applicable.
Obtain a Food Handlers Permit if required by state regulations.
Have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
Be honest, fair, and dependable, and respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Nice To Haves

Six months of prior experience in a food service department is preferred.

Responsibilities
