About The Position

The Dietary Aide supports the Dietary Department by assembling meals, preparing cold foods, performing utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in the coffee shop. The role involves preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages according to established procedures while maintaining food safety and hygiene. Dietary Aides stay current with facility procedures and protocols, including state-specific rules and regulations; set up and take down dining areas; assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning; support nutrition education programs; and take patients’ meal orders by phone. This is a PRN, non-benefited position with rotating shifts and a requirement to be flexible to work every other weekend at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and every other weekend.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Barista or food service experience.

Nice To Haves

2–4 years of experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities
