Dietary Aide - PRN
About The Position
The Dietary Aide performs meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions for the Dietary Department. The role may also include preparing coffee and other drinks in the coffee shop, preparing meals, snacks, and beverages according to specific procedures, serving meals, and receiving meal orders from patients by phone. The Dietary Aide follows food safety and hygiene procedures and stays current on facility-specific protocols and state regulations. The role also involves setting up and taking down dining areas, assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning, and supporting nutrition education programs.
Requirements
- Barista or food service experience.
- At least 1 year of experience.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
