About The Position

Caring Heart Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking PRN Dietary Aides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Dietary Aide assists with tray-line work and food preparation, stores food and supplies with appropriate labels, and cleans and maintains assigned equipment and work areas to ensure sanitary conditions. The role also includes routine housekeeping tasks and following dietary management procedures for food handling. Employees are expected to perform duties safely, take on other related tasks as assigned, and remain flexible as departmental and facility needs change.

Requirements

• Dietary or kitchen experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the tray line and with food preparation as necessary.
• Store food and supplies with proper labels for current and future use.
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment and work areas, including walls and ceilings, to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dishwashing, garbage disposal, and sweeping or mopping.
• Follow procedures outlined in Dietary Management Systems for handling all foods.
• Perform all tasks and duties in an essential and safe way.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments according to departmental and facility needs.
