We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Dietary Aide - PRN (Availability for various shifts including weekends)
We are currently seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a diverse environment with focus on patient and customer service, building and maintaining positive working relationships with all hospital staff and demonstrating professional, effective communication skills. The preferred candidate will have a proven background of success in the healthcare industry in both service and kitchen environments.

Requirements

• ServSafe Certification required, or willing to obtain within 90-days of employment
• Background Check and Drug Screen required for employment
• Must have active NC Driver's License free of major infractions

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Healthcare Dietary Services helpful, but not required
• Individuals considered for this position must have a friendly and outgoing attitude, must be service-oriented and willing to go beyond the general expectations to please the customer and have a positive team approach to accomplishing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transporting and serving meals to facility patients and staff.
• Washing dishes, trays and other cooking utensils.
• Performing general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of drink machines, cooking equipment, etc.) to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen and food service area as well as to remain in compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Assisting with the unloading of food delivery and storage in proper location.
