About The Position

Capitol Park is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to assist with routine food preparation and delivery of hot and cold foods in the facility. The pay range is $17–$20 per hour, depending on years of experience. The role supports safe, sanitary food service and adherence to facility policies, regulations, standardized recipes, approved menus, and patients’ special dietary requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe certification or similar food-safety certification, where required by the state and facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanup and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and serving areas.
• Prepare, serve, and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and the approved menu.
• Use service methods and food-handling techniques that ensure food quality.
• Apply sanitation procedures to provide a safe and healthy environment.
• Follow menu and special-diet requirements and report dietary non-compliance, concerns, or patient complaints to the dietician, supervisor, or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
