About The Position
Capitol Park is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to assist with routine food preparation and delivery of hot and cold foods within the facility. The position pays $17–$20 per hour, depending on years of experience.
Requirements
- ServSafe certification or a similar food-safety certification, where required by the state and facility.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleanup and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and serving areas.
- Prepare, serve, and store food according to facility policies.
- Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
- Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menus.
- Use service methods and food-handling techniques that ensure food quality.
- Apply sanitation procedures to provide a safe and healthy environment.
- Follow menu and special-diet requirements, and report dietary non-compliance, concerns, or patient complaints to a dietician, supervisor, or manager.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
