About The Position
The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania, located a short distance outside State College, PA. It is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital that has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week opportunity with rotating weekends. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Requirements
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation is required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in dynamic environment.
- Commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
Nice To Haves
- Vocational or other formal culinary education is preferred.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Experience with cooking and meal prep in an institutional setting is preferred.
