About The Position

Malvern Treatment Centers is seeking a per diem Dietary Aide for its Willow Grove, Pennsylvania campus. The role is responsible for daily cleaning of front- and back-of-house areas, including dining, kitchen, and dishwashing areas, and assisting cooks with tasks as needed. The position also supports meal service, food and supply stocking, inventory monitoring, and maintaining food quality and department procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Client-focused and team-oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible in response to sudden workload changes, emergencies, or staffing needs.
Dependable, with problem-solving skills and a focus on compliance and performance quality.
Able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
Able to work with extremes of heat and cold and use knives and other sharps as needed.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Able to walk and stand significantly, and perform reaching, handling, and manual-dexterity tasks.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, tableware, and kitchen and dining-room equipment, and store them in an orderly fashion.
Maintain the cleanliness of the cafeteria.
Prepare, maintain, and refill coffee, juices, condiments, and similar items.
Assist with washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils used to prepare meals.
Ensure plates and silverware are available for use.
Assist with serving meals and maintaining the salad bar.
Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, food storage areas, and supply areas.
Stock food supplies, condiments, and napkins, and monitor inventory.
Sweep and mop floors and assist with removing garbage from the cafeteria and kitchen.
Attend in-services and required trainings.
Comply with the schedule established by the Regional Food Services Director.
Help maintain professional behavior, food quality, and departmental procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
