The Dietetic Technician (DT) is a member of the treatment team who supports clients participating in eating disorder treatment programs. Depending on the site, the role may combine foodservice duties with nutrition education and clinical support for Registered Dietitians. DTs may work across levels of care, including PHP, IOP, RTC, and inpatient programs, in person or virtually, and may provide coverage at other sites as needed. Flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are essential. The schedule listed is part-time at 0.5 FTE, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The starting hourly compensation range is $21.00–$24.00; the final offer within that range depends on qualifications and experience. The position requires a qualifying nutrition or dietetics education pathway. Candidates may qualify with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or nutrition science from an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, or an associate degree from an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Technician Program. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in another field may also be considered if currently enrolled in an ACEND-accredited DPD program and they have completed the listed foundational coursework. Site-specific responsibilities and certifications vary. Residential or inpatient positions have additional driver authorization and certification requirements.
