Diet Clerk - Per Diem
About The Position
This position is for a Diet Clerk at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California. The hospital is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by The Joint Commission, serving as Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. It performs over 4,000 surgeries annually and handles approximately 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital boasts a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region's only Total Joint Center. Additionally, the employee may be required to float to Southwest Health Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, which is a 120-bed acute-care hospital featuring the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team and the area's only OB/Emergency Department program. The Childbirth Center is the largest in the region, and Rancho Springs Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. Appropriate orientation and competency validation will be provided for floating between facilities.
Requirements
- Maintains certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years food service experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- DSS Certification or Diet Tech degree preferred.
