About The Position

The Diet Clerk assists the Food Services Team at Bryn Mawr Hospital by helping patients order meals, serving meals, and recording meal consumption and diet changes in the computer system. The role calls for a motivated employee with superior customer service skills. Shifts rotate between 3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. The position requires working three out of four weekends each month and rotating holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or attainment of a high school diploma or GED within one year of hire.
• Keyboarding skills.
• Proficiency using an electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience in a health care environment.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities
