About The Position

Lincoln Tech in South Plainfield is seeking experienced diesel technicians to teach Diesel Technology and help students develop the skills and confidence needed for careers in the field. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports experienced technicians in becoming effective educators. The instructor teaches hands-on training in a fully equipped facility, delivers the accredited curriculum, supports student development, and prepares students for employment in Diesel Technology. Part-time, full-time, and substitute positions are available.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Diesel Technician experience.
• Desire to teach and inspire others.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Diesel Technology in a fully equipped facility.
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited course curriculum.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate it to students.
• Teach students about safety and compliance.
• Prepare students for successful careers in Diesel Technology.
