FleeTec Academy is a paid educational program that leads to a path to becoming a full-time Diesel and Trailer Technician. This program was established to help individuals enter the Commercial Maintenance field without the burden of high tuition costs and tool expenses associated with traditional technical schools. Participants are paid during the program, receive free education on Diesel and Trailer Repair fundamentals, and are provided with a set of hand tools and a toolbox. The program involves five weeks of full-time schooling at the Academy Campus, with travel expenses, hotel accommodation, and a meal stipend covered by the company. Upon completion of the classroom phase, participants are paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and offered a full-time job as a Mobile Mechanic. The role involves performing vehicle repairs at customer locations using a state-of-the-art vehicle. The job focuses on preventative maintenance and general repairs onsite to ensure fleet efficiency. The position offers competitive pay rates with a predefined pathway for raises and further training. The company emphasizes small class sizes for dedicated instruction and a competitive application process with limited spots per market.
