About The Position

Empire Truck Sales, LLC is seeking a self-starter, quick learner, and motivated diesel Service Technician to join their growing team. This role is for individuals with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair in heavy trucks, equipment, or fleet maintenance, as well as those with experience in rental/leasing fleets, forklifts, generators, or automobiles, or similar industries like motorcycles or tire service. Requirements

• Hands-on experience in diesel engine repair in heavy trucks, equipment, or fleet maintenance.
• Experience in rental/leasing fleets, forklifts, generators, or automobiles.
• Experience in motorcycles, tire service, oil changes, or similar industries.
• Must possess own tools.
• Ability to retain and apply learned information quickly.
• Ability to perform quality work efficiently.
• Prior experience and/or formal education in diesel truck, vehicle/automotive, or equipment repair.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and diagnostic software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins engine repair.
• DTNA training and certifications.
• Class A CDL with a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform diesel engine repair in heavy trucks, equipment, or fleet maintenance.
• Service rental/leasing fleets, forklifts, generators, or automobiles.
• Conduct work in industries such as motorcycles, tire service, oil changes, etc.
