About The Position
The Diesel Technician Assistant supports experienced diesel technicians with the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in developing a career as a diesel technician. The assistant must follow all dealership safety policies, properly use tools and equipment, protect customer vehicles, and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Preparing tools and parts for repairs
- Assisting with vehicle inspections
- Performing basic maintenance services
- Helping remove and install components
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Properly disposing of fluids and materials
- Moving vehicles
- Retrieving parts
- Cleaning components
- Documenting completed work
- Helping technicians follow repair orders and manufacturer procedures
- Working independently on tasks
