About The Position

Penn Jersey Diesel & Trailer is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Diesel Shop Mechanic to provide service to its growing network of customers. The role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and related systems, performing preventive maintenance, collaborating with team members, and delivering quality work that supports customer satisfaction. Penn Jersey specializes in commercial fleet solutions, including trailer sales, diesel truck repairs, mobile trailer maintenance, and collision services.

Requirements

• A- or B-level technician with at least 5 years of hands-on diesel diagnostics and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, engine, and transmission systems.
• Reliable and responsible, with a stable work history.
• Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
• Committed to quality work and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, DEF systems, clutches, transmissions, exhaust systems, and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors.
• Deliver quality workmanship efficiently while supporting strong customer satisfaction.
