About The Position

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC (MHC) is hiring a Diesel Service Journeyman / Mechanic to perform the work of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair technician under minimal supervision. The position involves skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components, troubleshooting major problems, and helping train Apprentice Technicians. The mechanic maintains an orderly work area and handles company tools properly, advises the Service Foreman when additional repairs are needed, maintains favorable customer relations, and participates in training to stay current with new technology. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• CDL.
