About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic at its Marietta, Georgia Service Center. The role is responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance of fleet equipment, including preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Work may also include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies, as well as welding depending on the location.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts. The advertised pay is up to $40.48 per hour. Employees can earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Requirements

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ability to handle major repairs.
• Experience with air conditioning and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins and Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
• Experience in trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities
