About The Position

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role is on 2nd shift at the Humboldt Truck Shop.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and work in all-weather and climate conditions, from very cold to very hot, as well as in a dusty environment. Applicants must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not offered.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the application work history; experience may be combined across employers, or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
• Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work in conditions ranging from very cold to very hot and in a dusty environment.
• Applicants must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not offered.
• A 90-day waiting period applies from the last termination date; candidates cannot have worked for Tyson three times previously.
