About The Position

PADNOS is a full-service recycling company serving consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. The Diesel Truck Mechanic performs inspections and preventive maintenance on semi-tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, and machinery, including brakes, suspensions, electrical and lighting systems, and other mechanical components. The role also involves repairing hydraulic, electrical, and other mechanical systems; diagnosing problems to determine repair needs; and completing required paperwork. This is a second-shift position.

Requirements

At least one year of related diesel mechanic experience or related military training.
Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
Related experience and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used to repair semi-tractors and trailers.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
Demonstrated safety consciousness.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of welding and torching is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
