Requirements

  • High school/GED or equivalent with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Completion of grade 12 or equivalent with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in manufacturing with press experience including quality and safety initiatives
  • Must hold a valid counter-balance forklift certificate/OH Crane Train Certificate
  • 3-year related experience running both transfer and progressive presses and coil set up
  • Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job
  • Working knowledge of the English language both written and oral.
  • Thorough understanding of SPC and Quality Requirements, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee’s Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Magna Operational Principles in all aspects of position and interaction with others.
  • Effective use of MDV’s Escalation Process.
  • Compliance to IATF customer requirements
  • Attends all scheduled meetings and training.
  • Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties that may be assigned such as running press
