About The Position

Cargill is hiring a full-time Diamond V Mill Hand in its specialized portfolio enterprise, which serves businesses and customers in markets including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt, and Cargill joint ventures. The role operates equipment and technology throughout the facility to manufacture products that meet specifications, while supporting safe, clean, and continuously improving operations. The position pays $37.76 per hour and works a 12-hour rotating shift.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Be 18 years or older.
Understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Have basic computer skills.
Be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, potentially including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while using personal protective equipment.
Be able to work in elevated areas four feet and above.
Be able to perform physical job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, including bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
Be able to work overtime, including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts, with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems.
Prior experience in production-related work.

Responsibilities

Operate facility equipment and technology, which may include mixers, batching equipment, mills, grinders, packing equipment, weighing systems, and palletizers.
Collect product samples and supervise tank levels.
Use computer systems to input and record data as needed.
Manufacture products to ensure they meet specifications.
Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement and promote teamwork.
Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
